Designed as a first-of-its-kind global construction captive

A captive built around safety performance and ISO 45001—for leading contractors.

The proposed SafeBuild captive brings top-tier developers and general contractors into one sector-specific risk community. Its shared foundation is not simply company size or historical loss data: it is verified occupational health and safety leadership, a valid ISO 45001 certification or defined certification path, agreed risk intelligence and continuous prevention.

A focused community built for sophisticated construction risks.

02One safety foundation

ISO 45001 creates a common management-system baseline.

03One aligned outcome

Captive participation

Potential participation in underwriting results after claims, expenses, reserves, reinsurance, capital requirements and governance decisions.

Traditional risk transfer

Defined protection
for defined risks.

  • The insurer assumes the agreed layer of risk
  • The insured generally does not participate directly in underwriting results
